Learn and master the essential exercises of STOTT PILATES® in group or private sessions. You will develop your core strength, control and endurance to achieve your fitness goals. Props such as stability balls, barrels and foam rollers are used to add variety and improve overall body conditioning.Duration: 60 minutes
What to wear/bring:
Wear comfortable, form-fitting clothes that will allow your instructor to see your bone alignment and muscle engagement. Mat pilates students are required to bring their own pilates or yoga mats.
It’s never too late to unleash your inner ballerina or danseur! This class is open to ages 18 and above with or without previous dance training. Classical ballet will help improve your fitness, alignment, posture, coordination, flexibility, strength, expressiveness, musicality and general well-being. Enjoy all these amazing health benefits and have a wonderful time doing it. Class will begin with preparatory exercises and will progress towards completing a full ballet class from barre work until centre practice.
What to wear/bring: For women, we advise that you wear pink or black dance tights, a leotard, chiffon skirt, and pink leather/satin ballet shoes with matching pink elastic. Hair must be tied back neatly in a bun or in a ponytail with a head band to secure any bangs from falling. For men, we advise that you wear black tights, jazz pants, or jogging pants and a fitted shirt. It is better to wear breathable, stretchy yet fitted clothing in order to allow for proper correction of the body’s alignment and placement.
